Ian Farnfield
Chief Executive
Ian is Chief Executive and co-founder. His first role was to set up and build Dragon Rouge London and since then he’s spent time in many different countries across the world working with clients and developing the group’s international network. He (still) believes passionately in the power of design and innovation and their unlimited potential to deliver commercial results, and he brings a strategic outlook from a background in business consultancy to ensure that the creativity at Dragon Rouge is constantly channelled into delivering business return for clients.
He plays a vital role helping give people the ambition, clarity and capability to produce outstanding work, and believes strongly that great work needs great thought and care. His clients appreciate that attention and he has been responsible for major clients assignments across a wide range of different sectors, normally related to major business change and transformation.
Before Dragon Rouge, Ian worked as a business consultant with PWC, specialising in corporate development work, and was CEO of the Michael Peters Group, a global brand agency with over 1000 people around the world. “Fantastic people, great work. But it taught me that being a publicly listed company is not the right model for developing and growing talent and ideas - nor for being able to focus on doing the best for clients for the long term.” Away from work he’s keen on sport and travel.
