Robert is the Creative Director of the Corporate Brands team at Dragon Rouge.

He has worked in design and branding for over 20 years, gaining a wealth of experience in the UK, Europe and North America and across many industry sectors. Prior to joining the Dragon Rouge team he was a Director and Creative Director at Enterprise IG (now Brand Union) and FutureBrand UK, as well as Creative Director at Fishburn Hedges, one of London’s leading communications agencies.

Robert’s experience also includes a formative period working with the design guru Bruce Mau in Toronto, which resulted in him working on projects in Los Angeles for the architect Frank Gehry and in creation of the architectural monograph S,M,L,XL for Rem Koolhaus. Robert is obsessive about creating and delivering solutions that are the best they can be. He has a relentless passion for crafting unexpected and elegantly simple brand expressions that help to transform clients’ businesses. An accomplished communicator with superior analytical and problem solving skills, Robert also has as a keen eye for detail and style.

When he joined Dragon Rouge it was the independence, the international client base and global office network that attracted him: “Working on global projects has allowed me the opportunity to experience many different cultures and countries. At Dragon Rouge I have the opportunity to put this experience to good use, to work with my overseas colleagues using direct insight and understanding into consumer habits, preferences and dreams, resulting in us being able to build successful brands”.

Over the years Robert has lectured at various UK universities on design related subjects as well as being a member of the D&AD Education Council. He has just finished a four-year tenure as the external examiner for graphic design degree course at Lincoln University.

Robert has a keen interest in all things related to design, from studying Japanese calligraphy to collecting and restoring post-modern furniture.
